The soil organic carbon (SOC) is a primordial element for the soil, for the plants, and the environment, that could be the key for global change mitigation. This study aimed to determine the soil organic carbon content and distribution in two different study areas. The Tiffech watershed that is a semi-arid area and Wadi el Aneb watershed which is a subhumid area. The two areas have different environmental variables as the climate, the type of soil and its occupation.
