The subject of thesis takes for pretext the study of a periphery of regional metropolis in order to surround phenomena of perish - urbanization and métropolisation as well as the more total process of globalization of cities . the multiple reconfiguration (economic, institutional, technological and of territories) are arrested to different scales (vertical and transverse ) .they reveal different realities according to countries and of development of these last .if the métropolisation generates the urban display , it is significant of development and performance from the moment one proceeds to the renewal of cities . it is however associated with the bad development in the absence of a modernization and of a little rational management of cities .
