Various bonded sheath cable systems are investigated with the inclusion of the protective device. Development equivalent electrical circuit models are presented. of A selection of results is presented on the response of the protective device on different systems and for various currents. load The results indicate that the model provides a reasonable representation of the device. travelling-wave The cable system transient method is considered. US1.ng response Modal analysis and Z-transform technique are thus adapted in the cross-bonded cable system transient anctlysis.
