Afficher le Résumé

Electrical Installations Technology is a technical and educational book that introduces the fundamental scientific principles and practical concepts required for understanding electrical installations. The book begins with basic principles of mechanics and heat before developing the fundamental concepts of electricity, including current, voltage, resistance, Ohm's law, electrical circuits, conductors and insulation. It then examines magnetism and electromagnetism, electrical power and energy, primary cells and accumulators, and direct-current machines. The later chapters focus on electric fields, capacitors and alternating-current systems, including single-phase and three-phase circuits. The book also covers AC power, electrical measuring instruments, alternating-current machines, AC-to-DC conversion and planned lighting. Overall, the work provides a progressive introduction to electrical engineering, moving from basic scientific principles to their practical application in electrical installations and equipment.
