This book introduces digital signal processing (DSP) using the TMS320C25 processor. It explains the DSP architecture and instruction set for real-time applications. Fundamental concepts such as discrete-time signals and system analysis are presented. The Z-transform is used to analyze digital systems. FIR and IIR filter design techniques are covered in detail. The Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) is introduced for spectral analysis. Programming is done using both C and low-level instructions. Emphasis is placed on efficient algorithm implementation.
